Sentara Healthcare has a strong commitment to make its health services available and accessible only to patients who live outside the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. If you are an International Patient or family member, please check out our special content designed to meet your needs.

Qualifications rest solely on the patient’s address when admitted to the hospital. The patient must have a residence outside Hampton Roads for their family members to receive Guest Services amenities. This program offers discounted hotel accommodations and other amenities like the following:

Discounted Lodging is offered at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (SNGH) for $25 per night. If lodging is not available, the Radisson Hotel offers a $64 medical rate.

Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel tickets for those traveling from Eastern Shore (one $5 and one $12 ticket per patient family).

Free Parking is available in the visitor parking lot for one car per family per day during the patient's stay.

30% Meal Discounts at the SNGH cafeteria.
