The Cancer Center at Sentara Obici Hospital encompasses a wide spectrum of activities from prevention and early detection to supportive care.

Sentara Obici's accredited program offers three modalities of cancer treatment: surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Nurses with specialized training in cancer treatment care for patients on our cancer unit. And as we treat the physical disease, we help the patient and family deal with the emotional impact of cancer through numerous support groups. An Oncology Library and Family Area are provided for the comfort and support of the family as well. Each year a Health Fair offers the community a variety of free screenings.
