Pain Management Program
For several years now, people in our community who suffered from acute and chronic pain have been provided with basic pain control procedures by the anesthesiologists on staff at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. In 1997 these physicians recognized a need for more comprehensive care for patients experiencing pain. Residents of the Williamsburg area were driving as far as Richmond and Fairfax to receive more complex therapies. They envisioned a program that would offer state-of-the-art therapy by a multi-disciplinary team.
The result of this research was the creation of the Pain Management Group at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.
Services Provided Dr. Tushar Gajjar provides pain management consultation services and procedures to patients referred by their physicians. His focus is to improve the quality of life for the individual in acute or chronic pain.
