Lymphedema Therapy
Manual lymphy dranage (MLD) and venous decongestive therapy reduces scarring, decreases post-operative edema, and also helps in decreasing pain after sinus surgery.
MDL is also effective for pain relief with recent trauma, such as sports injury or surgery (e.g. knee replacement). It is a soothing technique with gentle rhythmic massage-like movements that requires precision and a highly skilled therapist to obtain good results.
Therapy may or may not include customized wraps and pressure garments to support the treatment goals.
