Sentara Nursing Care (Long Term Care)
Sentara Nursing Centers combine a spacious homelike environment with skilled nursing care, specialists in the rehabilitation therapies that help older adults maintain or regain function, and all the health and medical advantages that come with being a part of Sentara Healthcare.
Nursing care at multiple acuity levels are provided to meet residents' medical needs and enhance their daily living capabilities. The professional staff of each Center has special expertise, compassion and enthusiasm for the care of older adults, working under the supervision of the Center's medical director. In-house physicians and gerontilogical nurse practitioners work in concert with the resident's attending physician.
