Sentara Bayside Hospital/Sentara Princess Anne Auxiliary held a ceremony on December 6 at Sentara Bayside Hospital for the annual Tree of Lights program. All monies raised are given to the Sentara Virginia Beach Hospice Program. Gifts donated in honor or memory of a loved one are placed on the tree. In 2006, $8,300 was raised. Stop by the Gift Shop to see the clothing, jewelry and unique gifts. Monies raised in the Gift Shop allowed the Auxiliary to award two $2,500 scholarships to graduating seniors in the Virginia Beach Public School System who are entering the medical profession.
