 Swiss Television Focuses on Telehealth
A camera crew from Switzerland’s national TV network filmed patients and staff of Sentara Home Care Services in late August for a segment on Telehealth technology. While only viewers in Switzerland will have ready access to the program, Sentara staff is thrilled with the national coverage.

Lebanon Newspaper Mentions Sentara
An article in the August 25, 2007 issue of The Daily Star, mentioned a video-conferencing session with Shannon Sayles, RN, Director of Safety and Performance Excellence at Sentara, who shared her experiences with nursing accountability as part of an American University of Beiruit Medical Center seminar.

An August 15, 2007 Virginian-Pilot article entitled “Sentara One Step Closer to Breast Cancer Clinical Trial” offers hope that a new breast cancer treatment called Intraoperative Therapy may soon be available at Sentara CarePlex Hospital.
