12th Annual Sentara 5K Fun Run/Walk

The Sentara Hampton Health and Fitness Center is gearing up for the 12th annual Sentara 5K Fun Run/Walk – In Memory of Denise Suits. This will be the twelfth year for the event, which originally began as a benefit run to aid in the medical expenses for one of our beloved employees who suffered with cancer. She has since passed away, but at the family’s request, we continue offering the run to benefit The American Cancer Society.
The race will take place on New Year’s Day at 1:00 p.m., and anyone interested is encouraged to participate.
You can download a race entry form, print it out and mail it in. All pre-paid entries are due by December 22, 2006.
All pre-registered entrants in the 5K Run/Walk will receive a t-shirt, with t-shirts to race-day entrants while supplies last. Door prizes will be awarded, by random drawing, to entrants. Post-race refreshments will be provided to all runners and walkers.
