Sentara Welcomes Melissa Lexier, M.D. to Sentara Princess Anne

Virginia Beach, Va. – December 22, 2006 – Melissa Rachel Lexier, M.D. has opened a new practice, Pediatrics at Princess Anne. The office is located at 1950 Glenn Mitchell Drive, in Virginia Beach, on the Sentara Princess Anne health campus.
Dr. Lexier earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH in 1994. She received her Master of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences in 1996 from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, and her medical degree from EVMS in 2000.
She completed her residency at the Division of Pediatrics at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY in 2003. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.
Prior to joining Sentara Medical Group, Dr. Lexier was in private practice in Virginia Beach and she devoted time to programs for children with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
She enjoys horseback riding, biking and hiking with her dog. She and her husband reside in Virginia Beach.
