At Sentara, we know that healthcare doesn’t begin and end inside our hospitals, emergency departments, diagnostic centers and doctors’ offices. Healthcare is a responsibility we each must accept for ourselves. As a not-for-profit health system, Sentara is committed to helping the people of Virginia and northeastern North Carolina by providing the highest level of services within our walls, but also by extending our care into the community beyond our walls.
