While life crises can be terrifying experiences they can also be opportunities to discover the grace and love of God and to learn to depend on God in ways never imagined before.
Pete grew up in Georgia and received the Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia. After receiving the Masters of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary he served as a Chaplain Resident at the William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute in Columbia, South Carolina. He spend 25 years in ministry with college students, with more than 20 at the College of William and Mary.
In 2006 Pete completed a residency at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. As the staff chaplain for the Emergency Department, he is in the department afternoons and evenings. He believes that every person has a intriguing life story, and he looks forward to hearing the stories of all who he meets there.
