This shuttle service operates between Norfolk International Airport and all Hampton Roads cities -- Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Suffolk on Southside Hampton Roads -- and Williamsburg, Hampton, Newport News, Jamestown and Yorktown to the north (across Chesapeake Bay).
Service is provided by car, van, mini-bus or motorcoach and departs continuously from the airport to all area military bases or any other commercial establishment. It operates on a flat rate (vs. a metered fare) basis. For example, to travel from the airport to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital costs $15 for one person, $20 for two people.
Special children's and group rates are available to all destinations for two or more people. Charter services are offered for any size group. Private cars are available.
Groome Transportation offers departures to Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg every 30 minutes on the half-hour and hour. Groome is located outside the baggage claim at the booth marked "Airport Shuttle."
