Sentara Cancer Resource Centers
When you or a loved one has been touched by cancer, you can’t have too much information. Sentara understands your need to know as much as possible about your condition and how to treat it. That’s why we make available to the community several comprehensive Cancer Resource Centers. Here you’ll find the latest information on all aspects and types of cancer – from prevention to detection to treatment. Because of our relationships with medical schools and academic institutions, you receive streamlined access to the most current information and treatments available.

The Resource Centers also provide complimentary Internet access, as well as access to counseling and registered nurses certified in oncology.

Patient Navigators / Care Coordinators
Sentara employs medical professional called Patient Navigators/Care Coordinators to help support and guide patients through the treatment process from diagnosis to recovery.
