Emergency/Trauma Services
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a Level I Trauma facility – taking on the highest level of trauma care available. All Sentara Emergency Departments are equipped to handle a variety of emergencies. Emergency Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible physicians staff all emergency departments. On-call specialists may be utilized to assist with patient care in the emergency department.
Minor Emergency Care is offered seven days a week, 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
