Minimally Invasive = Minimal Pain for the Patient
Sentara’s vascular surgeons operate using the latest advances in technology, including minimally invasive surgery (or laparoscopic) techniques. Benefits to patients include reduced trauma to the body, less blood loss, less postoperative pain, fewer complications, a reduced hospital stay and faster recovery times.

Sentara vascular surgeons also have many minimally invasive treatment technologies available to help restore the blood flow to the legs and feet of patients with clogged arteries from PVD. Find out more about these procedures.
