Since 2000, vascular surgeons at the Sentara Vascular Center at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital have used endovascular - minimally invasive - procedures for an increasing number of vascular surgeries.
The chart above shows that the majority of the nearly 600 vascular cases a year done at Sentara Norfolk Generla Hospital have been done using endovascular techniques versus traditional surgery.
