 The vascular surgeons of the Vascular Center at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and management of all vascular conditions. Our multidisciplinary team of specialists collaborates to provide dedicated, high-quality care supported by our experience, outcomes and resources.
The Vascular Center at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital consists of board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular and general surgeons. The core of the program includes certified vascular nurses, technologists and ancillary personnel that make extraordinary efforts on a daily basis to provide excellent clinical care.

Since 2000, vascular surgeons at the Sentara Vascular Center at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital have used endovascular - minimally invasive - procedures for an increasing number of vascular surgeries. 
The chart above shows that the majority of the nearly 600 vascular cases a year done at Sentara Norfolk Generla Hospital have been done using endovascular techniques versus traditional surgery.
