Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is staffed by physicians from the Medical Center Radiologists practice. These highly trained doctors perform complex proceduressuch as interventional neurological tests that are offered only at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital offers added care and convenience for its patients undergoing invasive tests. Intake, testing, and recovery (for those tests requiring sedation) occur in one environment with a large nursing staff to provide care for each patient.
The
Breast Center at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital features an all-female staff and four female radiologists fellowship-trained in mammography. Comprehensive services including mammography, ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsy are available at the Breast Center.

Hours: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital offers outpatient imaging tests seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Breast Center is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and two Saturdays every month from 8 a.m. to noon.
