Sentara Senior Behavioral Health Services 

Sentara Senior Behavioral Health Services at the Geddy Outpatient Center in Williamsburg is a medically supervised, structured outpatient program providing mental health services to older adults. 

The program, which operates Monday through Friday, serves Williamsburg and the surrounding area and focuses on enhancing the skills necessary to foster independence, self-confidence and self-reliance.

Free assessments are offered to determine the need for behavioral health services. Some of the issues addressed in the program include:

Depression
Anxiety
Social isolation
Unresolved grief and loss
Confused thoughts
Changes in physical health
Anger or agitation problems

Referrals to the program may be made by anyone concerned about the welfare of an individual 50 years or older. Rides to and from the program are provided if needed.
