The Sentara Sports Medicine program provides the following services to the Hampton Roads community in an effort to promote fitness, increase perfomance and educate young and old about injury prevention.
Certified athletic training services are provided for many high school students in the Hampton Roads public school system.
The Sentara Sports Medicine Program currently provides athletic training services to a number of public schools in Mathews, Hampton and Newport News.

Certified athletic training services are provided for private sports club and club sanctioned tournaments. The program also covers large sporting events including the AAU basketball boys and girls regional tournaments, VHSL sanctioned regional and state tournaments, the Annual Sand Soccer Tournament at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, the Senior Olympics and numerous regional wrestling tournaments.

Coaching Seminars and Educational Events Sentaras team of sports medicine physicians, athletic trainers and sports nutritionists are available to provide educational opportunities for your sports organization.
National Athletic Testing Program
The nation's premier athletic testing and evaluation technology provides sports performance assessments and national benchmarking comparisons to identify athletes' strengths and weaknesses. It also serves as a foundation to build an appropriate strength and conditioning program to give athletes the winning edge.
