Why Choose Sentara?

At Sentara, we're committed to ensuring you have the best available access to a multidisciplinary team of physicians and specialists that you need for the most appropriate care; we make sure your care is coordinated among all appropriate physicians in a timely manner.
Patient diagnosis and treatment can begin at any of our hospitals. We promise to work hard to ensure ease of scheduling and access to our facilities.
What happens when I am diagnosed?
Sentara's Thoracic Program provides first-time appointments, second-opinion consults, ongoing treatment and follow-up visits. When you receive a diagnosis of a lung or chest condition, you can access a variety of Sentara hospitals via our network of physicians and supporting facilities, including imaging, rehabilitation and diagnostic care.
