This is done through surveys that you will be asked to complete concerning your health, which will be mailed to you with a self-addressed return envelope. The second is to provide you with a safety net of protection for your family by means of life, disability, and medical coverage for complications that may arise from the donation. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital's Transplant Center pays for this policy at no cost to you.
