The Transplant Center for Sentara Healthcare is located at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (SNGH) and has been in existence for nearly 40 years. It has been a part of more than 2,000 transplants.
As a comprehensive solid organ transplant center, the transplant center is committed to providing value for the residents of Hampton Roads by offering patients in need of solid organ transplantation the best outcomes and superior customer service.
The center currently performs kidney, heart, pancreas and kidney/pancreas transplants.
Each of the organ transplant programs was established in accordance with the mission of Sentara Healthcare to improve the health status for the citizens of Hampton Roads.
