Linda R. Huffer is the President of Sentara Enterprises. She has responsibility for Sentara Home Health, Sentara Hospice, Sentara Infusion Therapy, Sentara DME and Respiratory Services, and Medical Transportation.
Prior to joining Sentara, Linda served as Chief Operating Officer for Consolidated Health Services/CHI National Home Care, based in Cincinnati, OH where she led growth of the home care and hospice division from $30 million to $175 million. She also led the development of the ARCH Program (Avoiding Rehospitalization through Care at Home) by developing clinical protocols which elevated the level of care patients received at home and reduced unnecessary hospital readmissions.
Linda also has a background in Specialty Pharmacy, having managed a portfolio of products for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension for Accredo Therapeutics. She worked with pharmaceutical manufacturers from clinical trial to launch and to product maturity and, ultimately grew this product line from $100 million to $500 million over a four year period. Prior to joining Accredo, Linda was responsible for a notable turnaround of Memphis, TN based Medshares, Inc. which at the time was one of the largest home care providers in the country.
Linda started her career as a pediatric cardiac ICU nurse with Atlanta Children’s Hospital. She holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration, both from Georgia State University.
