Navy medics conduct training with Sentara trauma teams

The Navy and The Level I trauma center at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital learned how to work better together during a helicopter training exercise. 

SAREX, a search and rescue drill, involved Navy and Coast Guard helicopters over the Chesapeake Bay, guided by E-2C Hawkeye radar planes and a landing at Sentara Norfolk General to deliver a ‘patient’ to the trauma team.
