Application is available through PhORCAS, the web-based pharmacy residency application system, starting in November of each application cycle.

Pre-requisites for the PGY1 program include: Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school or college.
Sentara Healthcare does not sponsor candidates for H-1B status to work as pharmacy residents.
Applicants interested in the program should submit the following materials through PhORCAS:
- Curriculum vitae
- School or college of pharmacy transcript
- Three references completed through the reference section in PhORCAS
- Letter of intent
