Mango and Avocado Salsa


  • 1-2 mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 avocado, peeled and diced
  • 2 plum tomatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and fresh pepper to taste


  1. In large bowl stir together all ingredients. 
  2. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 
  3. Serve with whole-grain pita chips.

Makes 5 servings.
