Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays:
10 a.m. – noon in the infusion center
12:30 – 4:30 p.m. off the radiation oncology waiting room
No appointment necessary.
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
A social worker providing referrals to community-based services.

Chaplaincy Services, Patient and Family Counseling
Our chaplain is available to listen to patient and family concerns, to offer help and encouragement, to provide counseling and information about coping strategies, as well as to provide spiritual support and ritual for those who wish them.
Mondays, 9 a.m. – noon Thursdays, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Assistance is available about weight loss or gain and diet during chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Make an appointment with a registered dietitian by calling 434-654-8406.
Look Good...Feel Better
Co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society, this program helps women deal with hair loss and changes in skin tone and texture. Sessions scheduled monthly.

The Cancer Resource Center is available at every step of your care to offer in-depth information about your disease and treatments. At the Resource Center, you may meet our nurse navigator who can help you find what you need and guide you through your treatment.
