Sports Injury Rehabilitation

Our physical therapists specialize in the treatment of sports injuries, spine injury, hand rehabilitation, athletic training and manual therapy. If an injured athlete requires the services of a physical therapist, he or she can expect to be assessed in the areas of:

  • Range of motion
  • Strength
  • Joint mobility
  • Coordination and balance
  • Flexibility
  • Pain

A specific, individualized treatment plan is developed for the injured athlete based on the findings of the initial assessment. Treatments may include modalities to decrease pain or muscle tightness, therapeutic exercises for stretching or strengthening of specific muscle groups, restorative manual techniques and education.
