Our therapists offer a wide scope of services for women from pre-natal to post-menopausal care. Evaluation and treatment focuses on pelvic floor, lumbar and abdominal strengthening and neuromuscular re-education.
Physical and Occupational therapy treatment includes:

    Physical therapy can assist with a number of conditions a woman may encounter in her midlife, including:

    • Osteoporosis

    • Incontinence

    • Lymphedema

    • Muscle or bone injuries

    • Nerve injuries

    • Balance disturbance

    • Post mastectomy or hysterectomy

  • Pregnancy-Related Services

    Pregnant women are frequently very busy and tired and put off exercise and/or seeking treatment for pregnancy-related aches and pains.

    Common conditions treated by physical therapy during pregnancy and post partum include:

    • Low back and neck pain
    • Sciatica
    • Carpal tunnel syndrome
    • Incontinence
    • Pelvic pain
    • Painful intercourse
    • Varicose veins
    • Leg and foot pathologies

    Physical therapists can provide skillful care to women after having a mastectomy or hysterectomy. Care can include the following:
