Family Care Class

Family Care class teaches parents what to expect during the first weeks at home with their new baby.

A Family Birthplace nurse will address topics such as bathing, feeding, child safety and mother's care after delivery. Parents will learn valuable information such as how to calm a fussy baby, swaddling techniques to help your baby sleep longer, how to know when to call the doctor, midwife, or pediatrician.

Parents will get to practice baby care techniques and ask questions. Come have a fun evening and feel more prepared to care for your baby.

Cost: $25 per couple. One registration counts for two, the mother and one guest.
