Sophia Leung, M.D.

Dr. Leung is from Baltimore, MD, which is where she obtained her medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the prestigious University of Maryland Medical Center and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. She then pursued a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at UPMC in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Leung enjoys having the opportunity to treat patients of all ages, and from all walks of life. She favors a team approach to patient care, which includes Primary Care, Physician Assistants, Nurses, hand therapists, and athletic trainers, all centered around the patient.

Outside of work, Dr. Leung enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, as well as baking, cooking, reading and listening to podcasts.
