About Me
Dr. Panzarella is fellowship trained in orthopedic sports medicine, specializing in minimally invasive (arthroscopic) surgery of the shoulder, hip and knee. He has a special interest in shoulder dislocations and ACL reconstruction. He has been practicing sports medicine in Charlottesville since 2010. Dr. Panzarella has competed in multiple sports throughout his life including soccer, competitive cycling, and collegiate alpine ski racing and rowing.
Dr. Panzarella is the head team physician for the United States National Mountain biking team and is the team physician for Charlottesville HS, FUMA, Miller School, Orange HS, and SOCA.
