About Me

Dr. Eric Unger is an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon at Sentara Mid-Atlantic Cardiothoracic Surgeons in Norfolk and Williamsburg with clinical interests in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplantation, valvular heart disease, coronary artery revascularization and aortic surgery. His research interests focus on preservation techniques in transplantation and he has authored several scientific publications.
