One in five adults will have a mental illness severe enough to require treatment during his or her lifetime, and many more will have emotional and mental health problems that prevent them from fully enjoying their lives.
Our staff can provide an array of treatment options, depending on client needs and population. Our primary services include:
- Individual Therapy
- Couples/Family Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Psychiatric Care
- Partial Hospitalization Program
- Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program
Individual therapy is offered to clients from age 4 and up. In this form, the therapist takes a one-on-one approach with the client. Through time they develop a relationship with the patient and develop a personalized treatment plan to attend to the specific needs of the client.
Couples and family therapy options are also available. We understand the value of family and how powerful that support system can be in the therapeutic process. For that reason, when issues impact those relationships, it can create an increased strain on everyone involved. Allow us to help mend those bonds and create a better outcome for you and your loved ones.
Group therapy is offered to those 18 years of age and up and is geared towards certain issues. We currently have four different groups running on a weekly basis. Our group therapy settings consist of a number of clients joining together in the healing process, finding strength in their shared experience and comfort in the support of the group dynamic. Each group is led by one of our therapists and addresses issues ranging from mental health, addiction and other obstacles that hinder the health and day-to-day functions of the members.
Telehealth services are only available to our patients who are receiving therapy through one of our other programs or available resources and are 14 years of age or older. Offered weekly, our psychiatric nurse practitioner will hold a video chat session with you to help assess any need for medication to assist in your therapy.
Psychiatric services are offered to patients 16 years of age and older. Our psychiatrist can offer an additional therapeutic outlook for those in need, as well as prescribe medications that will be useful in treatment.
The partial hospitalization program is a daily program that is offered to those patients who are in need of a more focused form of therapy. This higher intensity program is target at those whose needs are so increased they are at risk for needing inpatient care; or, those who are recently leaving an inpatient setting and need that increased amount of care to acclimate them to the return to daily life. Patients will take part in a number of different dynamics like small therapy groups, psycho-educational sessions, etc. for 6 hours a day. As part of this program, patients will also receive care from a nurse practitioner and/or psychiatrist. Lunch is provided for group members daily.
Our substance abuse intensive outpatient program meets three times a week. These sessions are focused at attacking and understanding the basic components of addiction, as well as creating a system of support for those who are battling these issues. The group held Monday, Wednesday and Friday, brings members together to discuss their current struggles and the additional issues that come from facing substance abuse. The group uses components of addiction education, coping strategies and emotional processing to help advance the members to a place of sustained sobriety and understanding of their issues. Those that progress well have the option of stepping down to a less intensive group that meets once a week.
