WalkAbout with Healthy Edge
Most of us know that it’s important to exercise regularly. But it can be difficult to find the time to fit exercise into our schedules. To address this problem, Sentara is pleased to offer the WalkAbout with Healthy Edge program.
WalkAbout with Healthy Edge program participants count their total number of steps in a day using a "Flash" device and track the total number of steps in a log book. The goal is to increase the number of steps to 10,000 steps per day, or more, depending on their current activity level.
How it works:
- Register for the WalkAbout with Healthy Edge program by completing this form
- The packet contains an activity tracking device, a walking logbook and additional information
- You should wear your tracking device every day and log your steps each night in the logbook
