Chaplaincy services are routinely utilized by patients, families, physicians and staff at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00pm. Varied night and weekend coverage may be available for emergent situations. The Chaplain’s office is located on the first floor as well, next to the volunteer’s office.
The chapel is located on the first floor, near guest services and the patient advocates offices. There you will find a multi-denominational space to meditate and also a prayer bowl where you may write and place your anonymous petitions.
Visiting clergy are asked to wear their identification badges while visiting their members at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. If a clergy person does not have an identification badge, please contact Chaplaincy Services Office at 757-395-8132757-395-8132 for information on a clergy badge application.
