What to Expect

After an initial assessment by both the cardiothoracic surgeon and cardiac electrophysiologist, a review of your history, physical exam and diagnostic testing, all of your treatment options will be discussed and reviewed with you. The atrial fibrillation coordinator, a nurse practitioner, will also evaluate you during the assessment and follow up to answer any questions and facilitate communication with the referring physician.
