Driver Evaluation and Training

People with special needs can once again enjoy the mobility and independence of driving. At Sentara Therapy Centers on the campus of Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, we offer a thorough program with certified driving instructors and adaptive driving equipment to help you regain your driving skills. This center has the only DMV-certified, adaptive driving program in South Hampton Roads. Its purpose is to identify and prepare patients who are physically, emotionally and mentally ready to drive and to assist them in using adaptive equipment, such as hand and/or foot controls.
