Are you at risk for prediabetes and type 2 diabetes? 1 out of 3 American adults has prediabetes. If you have been diagnosed with prediabetes or are at risk for developing diabetes, you can make changes now to improve your health and prevent type 2 diabetes. The Diabetes Prevention Program is an evidenced based program that can help you lose weight, become more physically active and reduce stress. It is offered at no cost through a grant from RMH Foundation.

There are 16 sessions, each lasting 1 hour over the first 6 months. Sessions start out weekly then move to bi weekly. Monthly sessions will be held the second 6 months. Exact dates will be provided at the first meeting. Folks can join during the first or second meeting, then closed to new enrollees.
