Angel Food Cake with Blueberry-Yogurt Sauce


  • ½ cup frozen or fresh blueberries
  • 1 angel food cake
  • ½ cup vanilla nonfat yogurt
  • 3 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice


  1. Allow blueberries to thaw slightly or rinse fresh blueberries.
  2. Cut angel food cake into 12 slices. 
  3. In small bowl stir together yogurt, sugar and lemon juice. 
  4. To serve, spoon yogurt mixture and blueberries evenly over cake slices.

Makes 12 servings.
