Broccoli-Cabbage Slaw


  • 1(12-ounce) package broccoli coleslaw mix
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup slivered almonds
  • 1 small package Oriental-flavored ramen noodles, broken into small pieces


  • ½ cup canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar ¼
  • cup white wine vinegar
  • 4 green onions, chopped


  1. In picnic serving container, stir together broccoli coleslaw mix, sunflower seeds, almonds and ramen noodles. 
  2. Whisk together the oil, sugar and vinegar in small bowl; pour over slaw mixture. Gently stir in green onions. Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour before storing in cooler.

Makes 8 servings.
