Fresh Citrus and Ginger Coleslaw
- ¼ teaspoon grated orange zest
- 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- ½ teaspoon grated peeled gingerroot
- 1½ cups packaged shredded cabbage and carrot coleslaw mix
- 2 tablespoons fined diced red onion
- In medium bowl, whisk together the orange zest, orange juice, lemon juice, sugar, oil and gingerroot.
- Add the coleslaw mix and onion. Toss thoroughly. Let stand at least 5 minutes before eating.
