The team he trusts
For Norman Campbell, medical care after having a heart attack care was important. He had moved to South Boston from Portsmouth and finding a quality, patient-focused team was a top priority.
Norman discovered that shortness of breath and tiredness he was experiencing were caused by several small blockages. He worked with Dr. Titus to schedule a catheterization and find ways to lower his cholesterol.
“The Cath Lab staff at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital knew exactly what they were doing, and they took great care of me during my heart catheterization,” says Norman. “They took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on and encouraged me to take better care of myself. I knew from the start that they were always doing their very best to help me feel well again.”
Now that Norman knows what is going on inside his heart, he is able to make the necessary lifestyle changes to lower his risk of developing further issues.
“The team I work with doesn’t mind taking the time explaining to you why they are doing what they do. They are constantly asking me questions, gathering information, and doing everything within their power to keep my risks low,” says Norman. “I can’t complain a bit and I am happy to have such wonderful care.”
