Our diverse group of volunteers share their skills and expertise in more than 50 area by assisting team members, patients and visitors. You will find volunteers at concierge desks, rounding on inpatients and in the ED, escorting patients to treatment areas in Medical Imaging and Mammography, at customer service desks, in the gift shop, outpatient pharmacy, bring many smiles with their pet therapy dog, knitting comfort shawls, playing the piano in the lobby or supplying support to Caregivers as they help their loved one through their medical journey.
Our community member volunteers are over the age of 18 and are asked to serve at least one 3-4 hour shift per week. Opportunities are also available for Junior volunteers ages 15-18, wishing to volunteer during the summer months.

Summer Junior Volunteer Program:
The Summer Junior Volunteer Program for high school students (ages 15-18) is a condensed summer program focused on getting students a view on what it means to work in a healthcare career. The program is divided into two four-week in-person cohorts. It is composed of an extensive in-depth two-day orientation focused exploring healthcare careers, as well as receiving a placement in a department in the hospital for the rest of the weeks. This program is application based. The last date to apply will be April 2 for the First Cohort and April 16 for the Second Cohort.
