Our hospital emergency department at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, as well as a free-standing emergency center at Sentara Lake Ridge are led by board-certified physicians, specially trained in emergency medicine. In addition, our hospital has been designated as a Level III Trauma center, offering patients in Prince William County a higher level of care. Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center
The Irene V. Hylton Emergency Care Center at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center has more than 40 exam rooms, including trauma rooms, triage rooms and rooms for patients with minor injuries. We ensure patient privacy by using enclosed examination rooms.
Sentara Lake Ridge
The free-standing emergency care center at Sentara Lake Ridge offers a high standard of emergency care. The services at Sentara Lake Ridge have consistently ranked nationally for patient satisfaction since its opening in 2012.
Emergency patients at Sentara Lake Ridge are walk-ins only. After complete evaluation at Sentara Lake Ridge, patients who require admittance to the hospital for additional care may be transported by ambulance.
