What you need

  • A smartphone, tablet, or computer with video and audio
  • Strong Wi Fi or cellular connection

Before your appointment

Complete eCheck In (Required)

  • Available up to 7 days before your appointment
  • Must be completed before your appointment time

If you have an active MyChart, log in, select your appointment and choose Start eCheck-In.

If you do not have an active MyChart, you will receive a text or email with a link to complete eCheck-In.

For eCheck-In, you will:

Verify personal and insurance information

  • Pay your co pay (if applicable)
  • Review and sign consent forms
  • Confirm medications, allergies, and pharmacy
  • Complete a pre visit questionnaire (may include blood pressure, heart rate, height, and weight)

Prepare for your visit

  • Test your camera and microphone in MyChart
  • Ensure your phone number and email are correct
  • Choose a quiet, private location
  • Do not join while driving or in a public area that is loud and distracting – appointments will be rescheduled

Join early

  • Join your video visit 15 minutes early
  • Access via MyChart or the link sent by text or email

During your visit

  • Turn on your video
  • Speak with your provider as you would in person
  • Ask questions and share concerns

After your visit

  • Review your After Visit Summary in MyChart
  • Schedule follow up care if needed
  • Fill any prescribed medications

Troubleshooting

Video visits use Epic Video Client and open in a web browser.

  • Disable pop up blockers
  • Allow camera and microphone access
