There are many things to consider when having a baby, and the Family Maternity Center at Sentara Leigh Hospital is designed to make this time special for you and your family. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is relaxing and family-centered and also delivers cutting-edge technology for the safety of you and your baby.
We are located on the second floor of the hospital, away from the everyday flow, to provide a peaceful, comforting environment for mother and baby. The center features 14 completely private rooms for labor, delivery and recovery, and 15 private postpartum rooms with ample space for dad or a support person to spend the night.
We offer a variety of classes to get you ready for your special delivery.
