This support group is open to any person during pregnancy or the first year of postpartum. You are not alone, and we are here to support you on your journey in partnership with Postpartum Support of Virginia.

No reservation required and children are welcome to come along.

The #1 complication of pregnancy and childbirth is perinatal mood & anxiety disorders (PMADs) - most commonly, anxiety and depression.

The good news is PMADs are temporary and can be treated with a combination of self-care, social support, talk therapy, and medication if necessary.

Our support groups are a safe space to discuss anxiety, fear, parenting, mothering, and self-care.

Additional directions:

The support group is on the 2nd floor. It is recommended to park in the first floor parking garage. Attendees will need to show their ID to get a visitors badge on the first floor main hospital entrance.
