Sentara Therapy Center - Hand Therapy - Fort Norfolk offers expertise in Certified Hand Therapy and the most advanced rehabilitation for upper extremity and hand injuries or disorders. Our Certified Hand Therapist specializes in the latest evidence-based practices, orthotic fabrication and education, and wound management and collaborates directly with the plastic surgeons in the office.

- Activities of Daily Living training
- Certified Hand Therapy
- Desensitization program
- Modalities (including, but not limited to, electrical stimulation, fluidotherapy, paraffin, and ultrasound)
- Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, or Graston technique
- Kinesio taping
- Postoperative rehab of hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder
- Scar remodeling and Wound Care
- Splinting/Casting/Orthotic fabrication
- Therapeutic and range of motion exercises
