Dr. Eggert's professional interests include pulmonary hypertension and the management of critically ill patients with multi-system organ failure. His research interests are developingnew medications and management strategies for pulmonary hypertension patients. Dr. Eggert founded the Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Sentara, leading to its accreditation by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association in 2017. Dr. Eggert enjoys national politics, reading, family, and Scottish terriers.
